Who is the Holy Spirit?
In short
The Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the Trinity, present and active in the world and in believers. The Spirit is not a force but a person, fully God.
Christians believe the Holy Spirit comforts, guides, convicts, and empowers, and that God gives the Spirit to all who trust in Jesus.
