What is salvation?
In short
Salvation is God's rescue of us, being forgiven, reconciled to God, and given eternal life through Jesus Christ. It answers the deepest problem of the human heart: our separation from God.
Christians believe salvation is a gift received by faith, not earned by works, made possible by Jesus' death and resurrection.
“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
