What is eternal life?
In short
Eternal life is the gift of unending life with God, beginning now and continuing beyond death. Jesus said everyone who believes in Him has everlasting life.
It is not merely living forever, but knowing God, which Jesus called life itself.
“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
