What Does the Bible Say About Salvation?
The Bible teaches that salvation is God's rescue of us, forgiven, reconciled, and given eternal life, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Salvation answers the deepest problem of the human heart: our separation from God. Scripture says we cannot save ourselves by good works; salvation is a gift, purchased by Christ and received by faith.
This rescue is offered to everyone. The Bible says whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, and that God desires all to come to Him. Salvation is as near as a trusting heart and an honest prayer.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus is salvation itself; His very name means the Lord saves. He lived the life we could not live and died the death we deserved, then rose again to give us new life. Salvation is not a reward for the good but a rescue for the lost, and it comes to all who trust in Him.
