What Does the Bible Say About the Holy Spirit?
The Bible reveals the Holy Spirit as God Himself living in believers, comforting, guiding, empowering, and making us more like Jesus.
The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force but the third person of the Trinity, given to everyone who trusts Christ. Jesus called Him the Comforter, promising He would teach us, guide us, and never leave us.
The Spirit produces His fruit in us, love, joy, peace, and more, and gives gifts for serving others. He assures us we belong to God and helps us pray when we do not know the words.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus promised that when He returned to the Father, He would send the Holy Spirit to be with us forever. Through the Spirit, the living Christ dwells in every believer. The Spirit points us to Jesus, forms His character in us, and empowers us to live the life He calls us to.
