Jesus Frees the Man Among the Tombs

A man no chains could hold is set free and sent home. (Mark 5:1-20, King James Version (public domain))

A man tormented by a legion of demons lived among the tombs, uncontrollable and self-harming. Jesus cast the spirits out, and the man was found clothed and in his right mind, and was sent home to tell what God had done.

What it reveals about Jesus

No darkness is stronger than Jesus; what chains could not hold, His word set free. He restores the man to his mind, his dignity, and his people. And He turns the delivered into a witness: go home and tell what the Lord has done.
