The miracles of Jesus

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

Five loaves and two fish feed a multitude, with baskets left over. (Matthew 14:13-21, King James Version (public domain))

A huge crowd had followed Jesus to a lonely place with nothing to eat. Taking a boy’s five loaves and two fish, He gave thanks, broke them, and fed more than five thousand, with twelve baskets left over.

What it reveals about Jesus

The only miracle in all four Gospels, this shows Jesus as the One who provides more than enough from almost nothing. He does not despise our small offering; He multiplies it. Bring Him your little, and watch Him feed the many.
