God’s Promises for Hope
God promises hope that does not disappoint, an anchor for the soul rooted in His faithfulness and the resurrection of Jesus.
Christian hope is not wishful thinking but confident expectation, because it rests on the character of God, who cannot lie and never fails.
God promises to fill us with hope, to give us a future, and to renew His mercies every morning. This hope holds firm even when everything else shakes.
What God promises, in His own words
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.”

“It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

How this points to Jesus
Our hope has a name and an empty tomb. Christ in us is the hope of glory, and every promise of hope is guaranteed by His resurrection. Because Jesus lives, our hope is not fragile but anchored, sure, and steadfast, reaching beyond the grave.
