God’s Promises for Loneliness
To the lonely, God promises His constant presence: He will never leave you, and He sets the solitary in families.
God promises never to leave nor forsake you. However alone you feel, His presence is a fact deeper than the feeling.
He also promises to place the lonely in families, giving us one another in the family of faith. You were made to belong, and in Christ you do.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus is Immanuel, God with us, and He was forsaken on the cross so that we would never be forsaken. Every promise of presence is yes in Him. Through His Spirit He lives within us, and through His people He gives us a family. You are never truly alone.
