Is It Too Late to Come to Jesus?
No. As long as you are able to turn to Jesus, it is not too late, and the very fact that you are asking is a sign that He is still drawing you. People carry all kinds of reasons for thinking they have missed their chance: too many years wasted, too many sins piled up, too much time spent resisting or walking away. None of those close the door. God's patience is far longer than your resistance, and His mercy reaches further back than your worst day. The invitation is still open right now, at this exact moment, to you.

The good news, plainly
The Bible could not be more sweeping: for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Whosoever. It does not say whoever has not waited too long, or whoever has a decent record. It says whosoever, with no expiry date attached. And Jesus proved it at the very last minute of a dying man's life, welcoming a criminal who turned to Him with his final breaths. If mercy reached a man with only hours left, it can reach you today, whatever hour of life you are in and however long you have delayed.
What this means for you
The only time it is truly too late is when a person can no longer respond, and if you are reading this, that is not you. So do not let the enemy of your soul talk you into despair with the lie that you are beyond the reach of grace; that lie has kept many people from a door that was open the whole time. Today is not too late. This year is not too late. The wasted years do not have to become a wasted life. Turn to Jesus now, honestly, and He does not hold your delay against you. He simply receives you.
Come to him now
Remember what Jesus said to the thief who came to Him at the eleventh hour: today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Today. Not after a long penance, not once he had proven himself, but that very day. That is the heart of Jesus toward latecomers, and it is His heart toward you. Come now, and let us reason together, God says; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. The door He opened at Calvary has never once been shut on someone who came. Him that cometh to Him, He promised, He will in no wise cast out.

I am very old, or very sick. Is it still worth coming to Jesus now?
Absolutely. The thief on the cross came to Jesus in his final hours and was promised paradise that same day. There is no age or condition too late for grace while you can still turn to Him. Coming to Christ now brings you forgiveness and eternal life, whatever time remains.
I walked away from God years ago. Will He take me back?
Yes, gladly. Scripture pictures God running to meet returning hearts. Your years away do not lower His welcome. The way back is the same as the way in: turn to Jesus honestly and trust Him. He has promised to receive all who come, and He does not resent the ones who return.
What if I have said no to God many times before?
Every past refusal is behind you the moment you say yes. God does not keep a tally that finally locks you out; His patience outlasts our resistance. That you feel drawn to come now is itself His mercy at work. Do not wait for a better moment; there may be none better than now.
