In the Bible, grace is God's unearned favor and kindness toward people who could never deserve it, saving us, sustaining us, and welcoming us to His throne. Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Corinthians 12:9 and Titus 2:11 are among the clearest verses about grace. Grace means the gift comes first, before we have done anything to earn it.

These verses are not slogans to prop yourself up. Every true word the Bible speaks about grace finds its yes in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). He is where grace, rightly understood, was always leading; come to Him and receive what no verse alone can give.
