Who we are
Our Approach: How Living Bread Handles Scripture, Truth, and Trust
The Living Bread is a Christian community platform centered on Jesus Christ, a place to read the Bible, pray with others, hear real testimonies of changed lives, and find a church near you. Because we write about the things that matter most, we want to be completely clear about how we handle Scripture, truth, testimony, and trust.
What Living Bread is
The Living Bread is a Christian platform and community, not a company selling anything. The name comes from the words of Jesus: “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger” (John 6:35). Everything here exists to help people encounter Christ, understand the Bible, pray, and find real Christian community.
Our pledges to you
Every claim we make about God is tied to the Bible, with references, so you never have to take our word for it. The Bereans were commended for searching the Scriptures to see whether these things were so (Acts 17:11); we invite you to do the same. Public pages quote the King James Version (public domain); inside the app you can read many modern translations.
The Living Bread is not the property of any single denomination. We aim to say what Christians across the ages have believed about Jesus, and to lead people to a local church family, not away from one.
Personal experiences, including accounts of healing, miracles, and near-death experiences, are presented clearly as one person's testimony, never as scientifically verified fact. Bible teaching and personal story are never blurred together.
There is no outrage bait, no false urgency, no vanity metrics. If a page promises comfort or an answer, it delivers it. We would rather be genuinely useful than merely optimized.
Pages are reviewed for biblical faithfulness and clarity, and improved over time as we learn what genuinely helps people. When we are wrong, we fix it.
We never fabricate reviews, testimonials, or people. Personal and community content is handled with care and consent. This is meant to be one of the safest places on the internet to bring a spiritual question or need.
Where to begin
New here? Start with who Jesus is, read the good news, or take the first step with how to begin following Jesus. Carrying something heavy? Ask someone to pray with you, or find a word of Scripture for what you are facing. You are welcome exactly as you are.
