Bible verse

Proverbs 16:3

Proverbs 16:3

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Proverbs 16:3 (King James Version (public domain))

What it means

Entrust what your hands are doing to God, roll the whole load of it onto Him, and your scattered plans begin to settle and hold. This is not passivity but partnership, laboring while surrendering the outcome. When our work is offered up rather than clutched tight, our thinking steadies too. For the Christian this means every ordinary task can be done for Christ, who dignifies our work by sharing it. Commit today's labor to Him, and let Him bring order to the plans you cannot control.
