Bible verse
John 14:1

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”
What it means
With betrayal and the cross drawing near, Jesus turns to comfort his frightened friends. He tells them to steady their hearts by trusting, trusting God and trusting him just the same. Our anxious hearts want something solid to stand on, and he offers himself. When circumstances shake and fear rises, the answer is not to summon more willpower but to lean the whole weight of our worry onto the One who is going ahead to prepare a place for us.
Read it, pray it, live it
On The Living Bread you can read the whole chapter, save this verse, ask Simon to explain it, pray it over your life, and share it with someone who needs it today.
