What is the soul?
In short
The soul is the inmost self, the part of us made for God that lives beyond the body. The Bible treats it as precious beyond measure.
Jesus taught that the soul is worth more than the whole world, and that it finds its true rest in Him.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
