What Does the Bible Say About Healing?
The Bible invites us to pray boldly for healing of body and soul, trusting the God who heals, while resting in His goodness whatever the outcome.
Scripture is full of God's healing, of bodies restored and hearts mended. James tells us to pray for the sick, and the Psalms cry out, heal me, O Lord. We are welcome to ask, and to ask again.
Not every prayer is answered with the healing we hoped for in this life, yet God's grace is always sufficient, and His deepest healing reaches the soul. One day He will wipe away every tear and make all things new.

How this points to Jesus
Jesus healed the sick, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead, signs that He is Lord over every sickness. By His wounds we are healed, first of the deepest disease, sin, and one day fully, when He raises our bodies imperishable. Every healing now is a foretaste of that morning.
