Jesus healed the sick everywhere He went, and He tied His healings to faith and to His own compassion. Each healing was a sign of the wholeness He came to bring.

What Jesus is really saying
Jesus healed not to show off power but out of compassion, and His healings pointed beyond themselves to a coming world with no more sickness or death. He often linked healing to faith, not because trust earns it, but because faith is the open hand that receives what He longs to give.
Who these words reveal Him to be
The word that made the blind see and the lame walk was the word of God among us. Jesus heals with His own authority, needing no one's permission, because He is the Lord over every sickness and the Savior who bore our infirmities. His healings are signs of the world He will one day make whole. He is the God who draws near to the suffering, and His mercy has not run out.
Come to Him
Whatever needs healing in you, body or soul, bring it to Jesus. He is full of compassion, and the same One who healed the sick then is near to you now. Trust Him with your brokenness.
