What God says over college students
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
Let no one look down on your youth; be an example in word and life.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

God's plans for you are for good, a future and a hope.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Seek God's kingdom first and trust Him with the rest.
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;”
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.
“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”
Be careful; the company you keep shapes who you become.
Where this all leads
These are the years you decide whose you are. Jesus is not a rule to leave behind with your hometown; He is a Person who will walk with you into every dorm, exam, and 2am question. The freedom you are learning to steward is safest in the hands of the One who made you.

Lord, in these years of change, keep me close to You. Give me good friends, a clear head, and courage to stand for what is true. When I am homesick or lost, be my home. Shape me into who You made me to be. In Jesus name, amen.
