Psalm 119 Meaning
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible, an elaborate acrostic in which nearly every one of its 176 verses celebrates the word of God. It calls that word a lamp to the feet and a light to the path.
It is the prayer of someone who loves God's instruction, hides it in the heart to keep from sin, and finds in it comfort, freedom, and life in every affliction.
