The Real Meaning of Christmas

Beneath the lights and gifts, Christmas holds a claim that changed history: that God became one of us.

For Christians, Christmas is not mainly about tradition or nostalgia. It celebrates the incarnation, that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. God did not stay distant; He came near, as a child, out of love.

The meaning of Christmas is that you are not alone, and you are deeply loved. God came to find us.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... full of grace and truth.”
