You said yes to Jesus. What now?
Heaven is rejoicing over you. You have not joined a religion, you have begun a relationship with the God who made you and loves you. There is no rush and no test. Here are the first gentle steps, at your own pace.

I said yes to Jesus. What happens now?
You have begun a relationship, not passed a test. God receives you as you are and will grow you gently over a lifetime. “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it” (Philippians 1:6). Start small: talk to Him, read a little, find a church.
What if I mess up?
You will, and grace is bigger than every failure. Following Jesus is not about being perfect but about staying near Him. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us” (1 John 1:9). Falling is not the end; it is where grace meets you.
Do I have to be baptized right away?
Baptism is a beautiful, public step of obedience and new life, and it matters, but there is no rush and no pressure. Talk with a local church about what it means and when. Your salvation rests on Christ, received by faith, not on getting the timing perfect.
You do not walk alone
Faith was never meant to be lived by yourself. The next and most important step is other people: a church, a community, someone to pray with.
