Honest questions
Can God forgive me?
The short answer
Yes. At the very heart of the Christian message is that there is no sin too great for God's mercy, none. Jesus died precisely for the things we are most ashamed of. If you turn to Him and ask, you are forgiven, fully, freely, and forever, cast as far as the east is from the west.
Maybe you are carrying something you believe is too much, too shameful, too repeated, too far gone. Here is the very heart of the Christian message: there is no sin too great for God's mercy. None.
Jesus died precisely for the things we are most ashamed of. If you turn to Him and ask, you are forgiven, fully, freely, and forever. He does not hold it over you; He casts it as far as the east is from the west.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
