Honest questions

Does God love me?

The short answer

Yes, personally. However unworthy or unlovable you feel, the Bible's answer is clear: God loves you, not a distant humanity, but you. His love is not earned by being good enough; it was proven while we were still at our worst, when Christ died for us. You are seen, you are known, and you are deeply loved.

However far away, unworthy, or unlovable you may feel, the Bible's answer is clear and personal: yes. God loves you, not a general, distant humanity, but you.

His love is not something you earn by being good enough. It was proven while we were still at our worst: 'While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' You are seen, you are known, and you are deeply loved.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
