How to Share Your Faith

Telling others about Jesus can feel intimidating. It doesn't have to be pushy or awkward, the best witness is honest and loving. Here's how.

Sharing your faith is not about winning arguments or delivering a script. It's about loving people well and pointing them to the One who changed your life. You don't need all the answers, just your own story and a genuine care for others.

Live it first

The most convincing sermon is a changed life. Let people see the difference Jesus makes.

Listen more than you talk

Ask questions and truly hear people. Love earns the right to be heard.

Tell your own story

No one can argue with what God has done in your life. Share it simply and honestly.

Point to Jesus, not just to arguments

You don't have to answer every objection, introduce people to a person, not a debate.

Invite, and trust the Spirit

Invite them to read the Gospels, to pray, to come and see. Then trust God to do what only He can do.

“Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”
