What does the Bible say about contentment? A settled peace that doesn't depend on circumstances, learned by trusting a God who is always enough. Philippians 4:11, 1 Timothy 6:6, Hebrews 13:5 are among the clearest passages.

This humble prayer asks only for daily bread, neither poverty nor riches, but what is enough.
“He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.”

How these verses point to Christ
These verses are not slogans to prop yourself up. Every true word the Bible speaks about contentment finds its yes in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). He is where contentment, rightly understood, was always leading; come to Him and receive what no verse alone can give.
