Galatians 5:1
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”
What it means
Christ did not rescue you only to hand you back to your old chains. He set you free, and freedom is meant to be lived in, not traded away for rule-keeping or fear. When we try to earn what Jesus already gave, we slip back under a yoke He came to lift. Stand firm in what He accomplished on the cross. Your acceptance rests on His finished work, not your performance, so you can walk in the settled, joyful liberty of a beloved child of God.
