Who Was Doubting Thomas?

In short

Thomas was one of the twelve apostles, remembered as 'doubting Thomas' for refusing to believe Jesus had risen until he could see and touch for himself.

When Jesus appeared and offered him that very proof, Thomas answered with one of the greatest confessions in the Bible: 'My Lord and my God.' His story is a comfort to every honest doubter.

“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.”
