The words of Jesus
What Did Jesus Say About Salvation?
Jesus said He came to seek and save the lost, and He was clear about the way home to God. Here is what He said about salvation.
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Jesus, in Luke 19:10, King James Version
He came looking for you; that is His whole mission.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Jesus, in John 14:6, King James Version
He is not one path among many; He is the way to God.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.”
Jesus, in John 3:36, King James Version
Salvation is received by trusting Him.
“He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation.”
Jesus, in John 5:24, King James Version
The believer passes out of judgment into life.
“Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
Jesus, in John 6:37, King James Version
No one who comes to Him is ever turned away.
Come to Him
Salvation is not climbing up to God; it is being carried home by the One who came down to find you. Jesus does the saving, and He turns none away.
His words were always meant to lead you to Himself. You can begin with Jesus here, ask someone to pray with you, or read His words in the Bible.
