What Jesus is really saying

Who these words reveal Him to be
He who calls us to endure to the end endured the cross for us first. Jesus is not a distant Lord demanding perseverance; He is the Savior who ran the race before us and now runs it with us. The strength to hold on is drawn from Him, the God who keeps His own to the very end. He began the work of grace in us and He will finish it, for He is faithful.
Come to Him
If you are weary and tempted to give up, do not look back; look to Jesus. He who began a good work in you will carry it on. Keep going with Him, one day at a time.
