Lay the day down. What went undone, what went wrong, what still worries you, hand it over and rest.
Lord, the day is done and I give it back to You.
Forgive what I got wrong; I release what I could not finish.
Watch over the ones I love while I sleep.
Quiet my thoughts and let me rest in Your care.
In peace I will lie down and sleep. Amen.
