A Prayer for a Broken Heart
When your heart is broken and the ache is deep, this is a prayer to bring your pain to the God who binds up wounds and stays close to the hurting.
Lord, my heart is broken and I don't know how to carry it.
You are near to the brokenhearted; be near to me now.
Bind up what has been torn, and hold the pieces I cannot.
Heal me in Your time, and don't let bitterness take root.
Be close, and be my comfort tonight. Amen.
