For those who mourn
You have lost someone, or something, and the world keeps moving as if it did not happen. Here it is allowed to be heavy. You can name the one you miss and sit with others who understand, unhurried, held. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Sit here a while
You do not need the right words. Name the one you miss, and let it be spoken in prayer so you are not carrying it alone. Others who grieve will sit with you here. When memory rises, you can keep it in a memorial that honors the life you loved. And when the sorrow has no bottom, bring it to Jesus, who does not turn from tears but promises comfort to those who mourn.
