How to Read the Book of Revelation

Revelation can feel intimidating, but at its heart it's a book of hope, Jesus wins, and God makes all things new. Here's how to read it.

Revelation is a vision given to comfort suffering Christians with one message: however dark it gets, Christ reigns and the end is glorious.

Its purpose is to encourage the persecuted, not to frighten you. Hold onto that as you read.

Don't get lost in every symbol, the sweep is clear: Jesus is Lord and evil is defeated.

He is the Lamb who was slain and the returning King at the center of every scene.

Sincere Christians read the details differently; the main message, though, is unmistakable.

A new heaven and new earth, no more tears, and God dwelling with His people forever.

“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.”
