How do I meet Jesus today?

You meet Jesus the same way the people in these Gospel stories did: you come to Him as you are, and you turn to Him honestly in prayer. Read one of these encounters, then read the chapter it comes from, and simply speak to Him in your own words. You do not have to clean yourself up first or believe perfectly. He meets everyone who comes.

I do not know where to start. Which story should I read?

Start with the one whose situation sounds most like yours. Ashamed of your past, read the woman at the well. Full of doubt, read Thomas. Grieving, read Mary Magdalene. Sure it is too late, read the thief on the cross. Each page links straight to the Gospel chapter so you can read what actually happened.

Do I have to believe already to read these?

No. These pages simply show you what Jesus said and did, in the words of the Gospels, and invite you to look for yourself. You can come with doubts, questions, or nothing at all. The invitation Jesus gave is gentle: come and see.
