Prayer & Presence
I Need Prayer
If you need prayer, you are already doing the one thing prayer requires: you are reaching out. You do not need the right words, a clean life, or any certainty that it works. You can simply say what is true, God, I need help, and mean it. That is a real prayer, and you can pray it right now.
If this is you. Maybe you have never done this before, or maybe you are worn down and out of words. Either way, you are welcome here exactly as you are. Nobody prays well at first, and you do not have to.
Prayer is not a performance. It is not measured by beautiful language or strong feelings. It is honesty turned toward God. The Bible is full of people who prayed badly, angrily, tearfully, in single broken sentences, and were heard.
What Scripture says
A prayer you can pray right now
And if you want to know the One you are praying to
You do not have to believe anything yet. Prayer is simply turning toward God as honestly as you can, and Christians believe that in Jesus, God turned toward us first. You do not have to take our word for it. Read his own words quietly and see what you find. The Gospel of John is a gentle place to begin, and it costs you nothing but a little quiet and an honest look.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I ask for prayer if I do not know how to pray?
- Just say what is true. You can tell God plainly what you need, or ask others to pray for you on the prayer wall. There are no required words and no wrong way to begin.
- Can I be prayed for without joining anything?
- Yes. You can request prayer privately and be prayed for without creating an account or sharing more than you want.
- Does it matter if my faith is weak?
- No. Prayer is not rewarded for strength of belief. Scripture says even a whisper toward God from a broken heart is heard (Psalm 34:18).
