Honest answers

Does God hear my prayers?

Answer

Yes. God hears every prayer of those who come to him through Jesus, even wordless ones, even angry ones, even whispered ones. He may answer yes, no, or wait, but he is always listening and always good. Prayer is never shouting into an empty sky.

“Psalm 34:17” the Bible points here. Read more Scripture.

A prayer was here before you

You sit in silence, wondering if your voice reaches beyond the walls. The night is heavy, but your words are not lost. A flicker of light shines through the cracks, reminding you that you were on someone’s mind long before this moment. Lean into that quiet presence. Amen.

Someone in the family wrote this for whoever would one day read these words. You were thought of before you got here. If you want, a real person will pray with you, by name, at no cost and with no account. Ask them to pray with you.

Take the next step

You do not have to sort this out alone. On The Living Bread you can ask the family to pray with you, ask Simon anything about faith, read the Word, and find a church near you.
