Is the Law of Attraction True?
The law of attraction says that like attracts like, so your thoughts pull matching circumstances toward you. Attitude really does affect how we act and what we notice, so it is not entirely empty. But as a law that governs reality, it is not true. As the Bible says, there are many plans in a person's heart, but the counsel of the Lord will stand. Life is not run by your vibrations. It is held by a God who can be trusted.

Let's take the appeal seriously
The law of attraction became popular because it answers a real fear: that we are helpless, tossed around by luck and other people. It says, no, you have power, your inner life matters, you can change your world. And there is truth nearby: a bitter, fearful mind and a hopeful, grateful one really do live very different lives. So the appeal is not foolish. It is reaching for agency and meaning, which are good things to want.
What is really being offered
But the law of attraction quietly teaches that the universe is a mirror that owes you whatever you can visualize clearly enough. That collapses under the weight of real life, where good people who believe hard still get sick, lose jobs, and grieve. It also has no comfort for the day your thoughts fail you. The God of the Bible does not promise you a universe that obeys your mind. He promises a presence that never leaves, and a love you did not have to attract.
Where the longing points
Jesus was not a life coach teaching people to think their way to abundance. He said your Father knows what you need before you ask, and that he gives good things to those who ask him. The center of the Christian message is not attraction but grace: God moving toward you before you had the right thoughts, before you cleaned yourself up, while you were still far off. You do not have to earn his attention by your frequency. You already have it.

Doesn't the Bible say we have what we say, or as a man thinks, so he is?
Those verses are about the real power of belief and speech to shape character and life, not a magic law that forces the universe to deliver goods. Read in context, Scripture points to trusting God, not to programming reality with your words.
So thoughts don't matter?
Thoughts matter enormously; the Bible urges us to dwell on what is true and good. The difference is that a renewed mind draws us closer to God and neighbor, rather than treating our minds as a lever to control outcomes we were never meant to control.
