What About Good People in Other Religions?
The Christian claim is not that Christians are good and others are bad; the Bible says all have sinned, and that no one is saved by being good, including church people. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. That sounds narrow, but it is not a claim that sincere people elsewhere are worthless; it is a claim that salvation is a gift through Christ that none of us earn, however good we are. The issue is never whether people are good enough, but that goodness was never the way in.

Let's not dodge it
This question usually comes from a generous heart, and that generosity is right. We have all known kind, sincere, admirable people of other faiths and of none, and it feels arrogant to suggest they are somehow shut out. That instinct should be honored, not scolded. And if Christianity taught that God rewards a tribe and damns everyone outside it regardless of their hearts, the objection would be fatal. So let us be clear about what Christianity actually claims, and what it does not.
How Christians have answered
It does not claim Christians are morally superior; it claims the opposite, that everyone falls short and needs rescue, so no one stands on their own goodness. It does not claim God is indifferent to the sincere; Scripture says he judges justly and that those who seek him find him. What it does claim is that salvation comes through what Jesus did, not through what we achieve, in any religion. That is actually the least arrogant possible message: not we are better, but none of us are good enough, so God came to save us at his own expense. The door is not for the impressive; it is for the willing.
Where it leads
The exclusivity of Jesus is not the pride of a club; it is the uniqueness of a rescue. He is not one good teacher among many but the one who died and rose to open a way none of us could open. That is why the way is through him: not because God despises the sincere, but because only Christ actually dealt with the thing that separates every one of us, good and bad, from God. And this door is thrown wide: whosoever will may come. The question is never whether someone is good enough, but whether they will receive the gift.

Isn't it arrogant to say Jesus is the only way?
It would be if it meant Christians are better than others. It means the reverse: no one is good enough, so salvation had to come as a gift through Christ. Reporting a rescue you did not earn and freely offering it to everyone is humble news, not arrogant.
Can a sincere person of another faith be saved?
Scripture is clear that salvation is through Christ alone, and also that God judges perfectly justly. Exactly how he deals with every sincere seeker who never truly encountered Jesus is left in his merciful hands, but the Bible urges everyone who can to receive the gift openly offered in Jesus.
