What About Those Who Never Heard of Jesus?
The Bible never says God condemns people for failing to believe a message they never received; it says he judges justly and that he made everyone to seek and reach for him. What it teaches is that no one is saved apart from Jesus, and also that the Judge of all the earth will do right. So the honest Christian answer is confident about one thing, Christ is the only Savior, and humble about another: how God deals justly and mercifully with those who never heard is left largely in his good hands.

Let's not dodge it
This question deserves to be felt, not just argued. It usually comes from compassion: what about the child in a remote village, the person in a distant century, the one who never had a fair chance. If the answer were that God gleefully damns the uninformed, the objection would be devastating, and rightly so. So let us not soften the difficulty. A God who punishes people for ignorance they could not help would not be good, and we should not pretend otherwise.
How Christians have answered
The Bible refuses that caricature. It says God has shown himself in creation and in conscience, so that people everywhere are reaching for him, and that he rewards those who genuinely seek him. It insists that God is perfectly just and will judge each person according to the light they actually had, not the light they never received. What it does not do is give us a formula for exactly how God saves those outside the reach of the message; it tells us to trust the character of the Judge rather than to write his verdicts for him. Abraham's question stands: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right.
Where it leads
Every honest road here leads back to the character of God shown in Jesus. On the cross, God did not stay safely distant from the problem of a lost world; he entered it and bore its cost himself. The One who will judge the person who never heard is the same One who died for people who had rejected him. You can trust that he will be more just and more merciful than you would be, not less. And there is a quieter implication: if you have heard, you now carry good news that others are reaching for in the dark.

Does the Bible clearly say what happens to those who never heard?
It clearly says two things: that salvation is through Christ alone, and that God judges perfectly justly according to the light each person had. It does not spell out the exact mechanism for those who never heard, leaving that to the wisdom and mercy of a Judge it insists will always do right.
If people can be saved without hearing, why share the gospel at all?
Because Scripture treats the gospel as good news people are made to receive, bringing assurance, relationship with God, and a new life now, not just a verdict later. And because Jesus commanded it. Trusting God's justice toward the unreached is not a reason to leave others in the dark.
