A church service is a gathering to worship God and learn from the Bible, and it follows a fairly predictable order. People sing, someone prays, the Scriptures are read and explained in a talk, an offering may be collected, and some churches share communion. It usually opens and closes with welcome and blessing, and lasts about an hour.
