In a world scrambling for the top, Jesus pointed downward, to the low place, as the way up. Here is what He said about humility.
“And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”

God lifts the lowly and lowers the proud.
“Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Jesus, who is Lord of all, knelt to wash feet and went to a cross. His humility is where our pride is healed, and He gladly shares His gentle heart with us.
