Bills you cannot pay, a job lost, debt closing in: money trouble brings a fear that keeps you up at night. But you are not on your own, and God is not distant from your need. These verses are for a financial crisis, to steady your heart and lift your eyes to your Provider.
What God says over a financial crisis
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
The righteous are not forsaken, nor their children begging bread.
“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”
Honor the Lord with what you have, and He provides.
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Be content; He has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.
“Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?”
Your Provider is the same God who fed thousands from a boy's lunch. Jesus knows what it is to have nowhere to lay His head, and He calls you worth more than the birds He faithfully feeds. This crisis is real, but it is not the end of the story, and it is not bigger than your Father. Bring Him your need and trust the Shepherd who provides.
Father, I am afraid about money and I do not know how to make it work. You know my needs before I ask. Provide for me and my family, make a way where I see none, and calm my fear. Help me trust You as my Provider. Thank You that You will not forsake me. In Jesus name, amen.
