Bible Verses for a New Baby
In short
A new baby is one of God's clearest gifts. Scripture calls children a heritage from the Lord and says each one is fearfully and wonderfully made, known by God in the womb. These verses give thanks, ask His blessing and protection, and pray that this little life will grow to know Him.
Whether you are welcoming a first child or a fifth, these verses celebrate the gift, bless the child, and steady weary new parents.
“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

A word for this moment
In the joy and the exhaustion, remember that this child is God's gift and God's care, loved even more by Him than by you. Rest in that, and ask Him for the wisdom and strength each day needs.
On The Living Bread you can read these passages in full, save them, ask Simon what they mean, and be prayed for by name by a real community. You are welcome exactly as you are.
