In short
Yes. Christians believe Jesus is God the Son, the second Person of the Trinity, who took on human flesh. He claimed to be one with the Father, forgave sins, received worship, and rose from the dead, all things only God can do.The New Testament presents Jesus as fully divine and fully human. He said, before Abraham was, I am, taking the divine name to Himself. He accepted worship, forgave sins against God, and demonstrated authority over nature, sickness, and death.
This is the heart of the Christian faith: the God who made you loved you enough to come for you Himself.
