In short
Jesus of Nazareth is, Christians believe, the Son of God who became a man: fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, was crucified, and rose from the dead, and He is the one Person through whom anyone can be reconciled to God and receive eternal life.Jesus is not merely a good teacher or a prophet in the Christian faith. He is God the Son, who entered the world He made, to seek and save the lost. He healed, forgave, taught, and then willingly gave His life on the cross for the sins of the world, and rose again on the third day.
To meet Jesus is to meet God with a human face, full of grace and truth. He is still alive, and He is still calling people to Himself today.
