The Living Bread › Begin the walk

You are not meant to visit. You are meant to walk.

Meeting Jesus is the first step, not the whole journey. Here is a simple daily rhythm to walk with Him, starting tomorrow morning, and the next, and the next.

The daily rhythm

  • 1

    Take the daily bread

Each morning, a verse and a word to feed your soul, a small, faithful reason to return. This is the Manna.

  • 2

    Walk with a companion

Carry your questions and prayers to Simon, a companion who never claims to be God and always points you to Jesus.

    Talk to Simon →
  • 3

    Stay in the Word

Read a little of the Bible each day, prayerfully and in order. Begin with the Gospel of John and meet Jesus there.

    Open the Bible →
  • 4

    Keep praying

Talk with God honestly, and let the family pray with you. Prayer is the breath of the walk.

    Pray →
  • 5

    Do not walk alone

Find a church and a community near you. You were made to belong, carried when you are weak and never left on your own.

    Find your people →

A word for the road

To walk with God is the whole invitation of the Bible:

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Micah 6:8 (KJV)

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Galatians 5:25 (KJV)

Haven't taken the first step yet?

The walk begins with a Person. You can meet Him today.
