What Did Jesus Say About the Temple?
Jesus loved His Father's house and was grieved to see it turned into a marketplace. He called it a house of prayer, and He pointed to Himself as greater than the temple.

What Jesus is really saying
Jesus honored the temple as His Father's house, yet He revealed something greater: that He Himself is where heaven and earth now meet. The building pointed forward to Him. In Christ, we no longer climb to a holy place to find God; God has come to us, and we meet Him in His Son.
Who these words reveal Him to be
He calls the temple His Father's house and then reveals something greater: in this place is one greater than the temple, and the true temple is His own body. Jesus is God come to dwell among us, the meeting place of heaven and earth. We no longer climb to a holy building to find God; we come to Christ. He is the Lord who fills the temple and the Savior in whom we meet God face to face.
Come to Him
You do not need a temple to reach God anymore. Jesus is the meeting place, and He invites you in freely. Come to Him, and find the presence of God that no building could contain.
