What Did Jesus Say About the Great Commission?
Before He returned to heaven, Jesus gave His followers one great task: to carry His good news to every nation. He sends us with His authority and His promise to be with us always.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

His good news is for every people on earth.
“lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”

What Jesus is really saying
The last thing Jesus told His followers was to go and share what they had found. The commission is huge, every nation, every person, but it comes wrapped in a promise: He goes with us to the very end. We do not carry the message on our own strength but in the company of the risen Lord.
Who these words reveal Him to be
He sends His followers with all authority in heaven and earth, an authority that belongs to God alone, and He promises to be with them always, even to the end of the world. Only the risen Lord could make such a promise. Jesus is the King commissioning His people and the Savior whose good news is for every nation. To be sent by Him is to carry the presence of the God who never leaves us.
Come to Him
The good news of Jesus was never meant to stop with you; it was meant to flow through you. Come to Him first, receive His love, and then join the joyful task of sharing it with the world.
