The Tears of the Bible: The Weeping God Did Not Despise
The Bible does not hide its tears. Hagar weeps in the desert, Joseph on his brothers' necks, Hannah at the altar, David for his son, a whole people by the rivers of Babylon; and Jesus Himself weeps at a grave and over a city that would not come home. Scripture says God keeps our tears in His bottle and will one day wipe them all away. Each page below opens one weeping honestly and follows it to Christ, the man of sorrows acquainted with grief, who came to turn our mourning into dancing.
