Teaching Kids About God: How to Pass On a Real, Warm Faith
You want your child to know God, and you are not entirely sure how to do it, or whether you are doing it right. That worry is a good sign; it means you love them. You do not need a theology degree, a perfect answer, or a spotless faith of your own. God gave this child to you, not to an expert. The oldest instruction in the Bible is almost embarrassingly simple: talk about Him as you go, when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. Not a lecture, a life shared out loud. Each page below meets one real moment, the bedtime question, the hard question, the day your child doubts, the day you are not sure yourself, and hands you honest words and the God who takes children into His arms. Suffer the little children to come unto me, Jesus said, and forbid them not. He still means it, about your child, and about you.
